Resident Evil Experience

To celebrate the new Resident Evil 7: Biohazard game release, Capcom has launched Resident Evil 7: The Experience – a 45-minute immersive event. The Sewer Gators, a paranormal TV production team, is looking for intern reporters to help them investigate the disappearance of their missing crew. Are you up to it? Following a storyline inspired by the brand new game, this experience recreates the Baker family house in a haunted venue in the heart of London’s East End. You will need to work together to collect hints, solve puzzles, and outsmart the Baker family as you search for the truth about your missing colleagues and try escape the house.

City of London Sinfonia: M&G Classical Concert Series

In this programme musicians explore fiddling from the classical and folk traditions with devilishly difficult trills and tricks from the Italian masters of the Baroque, folk fiddling from the British Isles to the Appalachian mountains of the deep south of American and sultry impassioned tango from Argentina. En route they take in music from Percy Grainger and Aaron Copland inspired by the folk traditions of the UK and the USA. Two of the best folk musicians in the country will be playing: award-winning folk fiddler Henry Webster and the astonishing banjo player Dan Walsh.

The Sleeping Beauty

Live from the Bolshoi Ballet. On her 16th birthday, a curse by the evil Carabosse causes the beautiful Princess Aurora to fall into a deep slumber for 100 years. Only the kiss of a prince can awaken her. In this resplendent and magical classic, the Bolshoi dancers take the audience on a dreamlike journey through the famous fairy tale, complete with jewel fairies, a magical kingdom, a youthful princess and a handsome prince. Epping Forest Guardian: The National Theatre is celebrating its 50th anniversary.

Us/Them

In September 2004 a group of terrorists stormed a school in Beslan, taking hundreds of children hostage. The ensuing siege lasted three days and left many dead. Us/Them is not a straightforward account of this terrible tragedy, but an exploration of the entirely individual way children cope with traumatic situations. After a sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2016 and winning The Scotsman Fringe First Award, Us/Them comes to the NT.

Siobhan Davies Dance

London-based investigative arts organisation Siobhan Davies Dance premiere an ambitious new installation comprised of multiple pieces by choreographers, visual artists, scientists and designers. The installation includes live performance, film projection and objects that are presented as an ever-changing arrangement. As they interrogate the fascinating relationship between mind and body the artists create new works, including choreography exploring lost movements from the past and interactive structures examining the postures of an argument. The works appear within a large-scale architecture, which is built-up, dismantled and rearranged, creating new pathways and drawing visitors into a journey of discovery.

The Big Craft Swish

Let’s not lie about it, crafting uses up a lot of materials. And even more materials don’t get used at all. So if you have a secret stash of guilty craft purchases, this is for you. All that stuff going to waste in your cupboards, lofts and under your bed. It’s taking up space that London-dwellers can ill afford, and all that clutter just isn’t good for your creative soul. So do something about it. Maybe you’re new to craft, and you bought a load of stuff that now you don’t know what to do with. Bring it along and swap it for something you can use. Or you might even meet someone who can show you what to do with it instead. Already a super crafter? Come along and declutter, get inspiration, encourage the newbies and share stories with fellow crafters.

The 29th edition of London Art Fair will provide a supportive environment for collectors of all levels. Winter Lights
