Spurs boss Ramos in the hunt for Chelsea defender

JUANDE RAMOS has earmarked Chelsea's defender Tal Ben Haim as a suitable partner for Jonathan Woodgate, media reports claim.

The Israeli international has not featured for the Blues since the club's 3-1 win over Huddersfield in the FA Cup in February.

With Younes Kaboul on his way out of the club, and the long-term future of defensive pillar Ledley King in the balance, Ramos is looking for quality replacements capable of helping the side to a Champions League place next season.

Ben Haim is though to fit the bill. The 26-year-old spoke out about his lack of opportunities under Avram Grant and is keen to seek first-team football elsewhere.
