Ten sacks of winter clothing have been donated to people suffering due to the conflict in Ukraine.
The donation was made by the Epping Rotary Club and will be delivered to Chernihiv in the north of the country by Felsted Aid, a charity group that relies on many north London rotary clubs.
The clothes will be given to refugees fleeing the conflict in the east of Ukraine, many of whom left their home with only summer clothes.
The Epping Rotary Club was praised by the aid organisation for doing a “fantastic job” with the donations.
Money raised by the club earlier in the year was used to buy a mini-bus to help Felsted Aid’s charity efforts continue.
