A trail date has been set for the trial of a man accused of attacking a council car clamper.
Tapodev Chakraborty, 45, of Broadfield Way in Buckhurst Hill, is charged with beating Stephen Grundy on November 13 in an attempt to prevent his vehicle being clamped.
He appeared today at Chelmsford Magistrates Court where he was released on unconditional bail.
Chakraborty will return to the same court on June 23 for trial.
