Coffee shop staff have raised £415 for a mental health charity.

Caffe Nero, in High Road, Epping, held a family fun day on Saturday to mark the launch of a year of fundraising, during which it aims to raise around £20,000 for charity MIND.

Epping mayor Barbara Scruton was among those who supported the day, which included fancy dress, a lucky dip and a raffle, with prizes donated by local businesses including The George and Dragon pub, Amy Louise, Campion Court Hair Design and The Card Factory.

Epping branch manager Carina Howard said: “We would like to thank the local people who turned out to support our fundraising.

"We would also like to thank the local businesses for their very kind donations which all combined to make the day a great success.”
