A charity fun day has raised £500 for terminally ill children.
The Marriott Hotel in Old Shire Lane, Waltham Abbey hosted the fun day on Sunday (March 29) to raise money for children's charity, The Dream Factory, which was set up in 2008 by Epping resident Avril Mills.
Families enjoyed free face painting, a DJ and a raffle as well as visits from staff at the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation, West Essex Golf Club, TopGolf, Lee Valley Park, Swimming Nature and Epping Ongar Railway.
The raffle, for which prizes were donated by businesses and stallholders at the event, was drawn by EastEnders actress Gillian Taylforth and Allo Allo's Vicki Michelle.
Avril Mills said: “we would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who supported us on the day.
"Thanks extend to all of our Dream Team volunteers, the Marriott staff and of course our patron Vicki Michelle and actress Gillian Taylforth who came and supported us during the day and also drew the raffle.
"We are hoping to make enough to grant more dreams, and this event gave us a chance to create more awareness about our lovely charity."
