A woman was sexually assaulted while out jogging.
The victim, is in her 20s and from Broxbourne, was running on the River Lea towpath, close to Carthagena Lock near Nazeing, at around 6.30pm on Monday (April 20) when she was grabbed from behind.
She was dragged towards the bushes by a man who sexually assaulted her.
The woman managed to escape and call police and was not injured but badly shaken.
Police are looking for the man described as white, aged 25 to 30, about 6ft 3ins, with dark brown hair gelled back and a muscular build.
He spoke with a local accent and was wearing a white T-shirt with a dark-coloured logo on the left side, dark-coloured knee length shorts and white trainers.
The victim also reported that the mans breath smelled of alcohol.
