Michael Ifayin was arrested and charged last week
A man wanted in connection with rape has been arrested and charged.
Michael Ifayin, 47, was arrested in London on Wednesday (July 29) after he was spotted by a member of the public following a Crimewatch appeal.
He was charged with the rape of a woman in Waltham Abbey in December and appeared in Chelmsford Magistrates Court on Thursday (July 30).
Ifayin has been remanded in custody prior to his next court appearance in October.
