Students from a French school got a taste of life in Epping Forest when they visited The King Harold Academy.
Nineteen Year nine pupils and two teachers from from Le Collège Sainte-Marie in Chavagnes-en-Paillers, travelled Waltham Abbey see what a school day in England entails.
Students spent the morning getting to know one another, playing games and interacting in French and English.
Small groups of pupils were then taken on a tour of the academy to observe some lessons.
At break time the students could mix with the rest of the children and experienced the difference between British schools and French schools.
Lunch was traditional fish and chips, while the French visitors also brought brioche to share with their English counterparts.
This is the third year in a row that youngsters from Le Collège Sainte-Marie have visited King Harold Academy.
