Two men have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery on a luxury watch shop in Buckhurst Hill.
The pair, aged 19 and 20, were detained after staff were threatened with a handgun at Luxe Watches, in Queens Road, on Tuesday (January 10).
Arrests were made after Essex Police and Met Flying Squad officers carried out raids on addresses in Edmonton and Muswell Hill at around 6am this morning.
The pair remain in custody.
Luxe Watches was targeted by robbers at 5.30pm on Tuesday evening, when staff were forced to hand over jewellery, including several watches.
Staff were thought to have been threatened with a handgun during the incident.
The suspects then made their way out of shop by smashing the front door with a sledgehammer.
