Unfortunately it’s going to be a bit of a dreary start to the week in east London. Expect rain until around 2pm with dark clouds and temperature highs of just five degrees.

Tube

There is no TfL Rail service between Brentwood and Shenfield. Bus replacement services are running between to the two stations.

There are major delays on the Victoria Line because of a signal failure at Euston.

There are minor delays westbound between Upminster and Barking on the District Line because of someone ill on the train.

There are also delays on the Hammersmith & City and Circle Lines due a signal failure at Edgware Road.

There is good service on all other lines.

Travel

The A1055 Meridian Way is partially blocked in Edmonton, queueing traffic due to an accident near Pickett's Lock Lane (Lee Valley Sports Centre), congestion to the A110 Lea Valley Road.

Grove Road is closed due to gas leak and emergency repairs between Gresham Drive (Little Heath) and Flora Gardens (Goodmayes). Until January 18. Diversion: For bus 392

All lanes have re-opened after a crash on the A406 at the M11 junction at Charlie Brown's Roundabout in South Woodford.

Expect heavy traffic on the M11 southbound between J6 M25 and J4 the A406 North Circular (Woodford).

Queueing traffic on the A12 into town between the A1112 Whalebone Lane North (Moby Dick) and the B177 Barley Lane / Hainault Road.

There is very slow traffic on the A13 into town from Ferry Lane (Rainham) to the A1153 Lodge Avenue Flyover (Barking).

There are temporary traffic lights, a gas leak, and emergency repairs on the A123 Cranbrook Road at Gants Hill Crescent until January 18.
