A man was beaten by two people before being robbed of a significant sum of money on a footpath in Harlow.

The victim, a man in his 40s, was walking along a path near Brooklane Field at around 11.30pm on December 23 last year, when he was approached by two men.

They attacked him and he fell to the floor before he had his wallet stolen which contained a three-figure sum of cash.

The men then made off towards the A1169.

The men are described as taller than 5ft 7ins and both wearing dark clothing. One is described as being of stocky build.

The victim suffered cuts and grazes to his hands, chin and head.
