A man has been charged following a burglary at a home in Loughton.
James Regan, 32, of Pondfield Road, Colchester, was arrested on January 17 on suspicion of burglary following a break-in at a property in Debden Road.
He was charged with burglary and appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on January 18.
Police were called to the house on November 23 last year after an intruder alarm went off.
The owner returned home to find a watch, a tie pin and cuff links were missing.
Mr Regan, who is unemployed, did not enter a plea and his hearing was adjourned to next month.
