Six people were taken to hospital after three buses and a lorry were involved in a crash in Epping.

Emergency services were called to London Road at around 10.30am yesterday morning (Wednesday, January 18) after reports of a collision.

No one was trapped in the vehicles following the crash, but nine people were given first aid by medics and firefighters.

Six of the casualties were then taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow further care, three with neck injuries and three as a precautionary measure.

None are thought to be in a life-threatening condition.

Fire crews and Highways Agency officers also cleared up a large diesel spill caused by the crash.

The road was able to be reopened again at 2.30pm.

Essex Police said no arrests arrests had been made in connection with the incident.
