Celebrities are coming together to raise funds in memory of a popular fitness guru, who died from a brain tumour last year.

Nicki Waterman, lost her battle with cancer in August 2016 aged 52 after she was diagnosed with an inoperable tumour in 2015.

She was one of the Uk’s foremost fitness experts, working as The Sun’s fitness columnist and working as a personal trainer to stars such as Kelly Brook, Denise van Outen and Rachel Hunter.

Now, Towie’s Georgia Bright and friend Ariana Alexander-Sefre have launched the Nicki Waterman Charity Ball in aid of Brain Tumour Research.

The black-tie event will take place at King’s Oak Hotel in High Beach on Sunday, February 26.

The evening will feature celebrity performances from the likes of X Factor’s Kye Sones and Charlie Brown, as well as The Voice’s Luciee Closier.

Ms Bright said: “This is such an amazing way to remember an amazing person. What happened to Nicki shows that you can be fit and healthy and still get a brain tumour.

“We are determined to raise money with this Ball and help Brain Tumour Research really make a difference for patients like her.

“We have fabulous raffle prizes including flights with Monarch Airlines, Harley Street treatments, fantastic three-course meals and luxurious massages. It will be a night to remember.”

Tickets are £30 available via PayPal, visit: paypal.me/essexcharityball/30. Alternatively, to donate £5 to Brain Tumour Research, text “NICKI” to: 70660.
