London Underground drivers are set to walk out this week in a dispute over "displacement" of staff.
Members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) union on parts of the Central line will walk out for 15 hours from 11.30pm on Tuesday (February 21).
The strike is being held after eight drivers based at depots in Leytonstone and Hainault, were told they would have to transfer to work on a different line.
London Underground has claimed workers were needed on other parts of its network, while the Central line in east London is currently overstaffed.
Drivers also took industrial action last month over the same dispute, disrupting services on the Central and Waterloo and City lines.
Mick Cash, RMT general secretary, has said moving to another depot would set a precedent for TfL to begin “shunting drivers around at a drop of a hat.”
TfL has released a timetable for how the strike is expected to unfold. Here is how your journey is likely to be affected:
Tuesday February 21
• 23:30: Central line closing
Wednesday February 22
• All day: No Central line east of Leytonstone
• 05:30: No westbound Central line between Leytonstone and White City
• 07:00: Very limited Central line
• 23:00: Central line closing
Thursday February 23
• 05:30: Normal service
All other TfL services, apart from the Waterloo and City line, will run as normal.
However, other lines and stations are likely to be busier than usual, especially Chingford, Ilford and Leytonstone.
Buses will be running and may be busier than usual, for more details, visit: tfl.gov.uk.
