A GROUP of students has developed a water sterilisation pump for third world countries.
The Level 2 business students at Waltham Forest College in Forest Road, Walthamstow, are hoping their idea will win the Big Idea Challenge 2017.
The competition which is run by London Metropolitan University will see finalists in with a chance of winning the People’s Choice Awards and £30,000 worth of investment.
Students Micheal Anunobi, Raul Cadar, Armandas Stephanovas and Ali Alamtory worked together to design the pump.
Michael said: “This is a life changing opportunity for us. The experience and the possibilities from participating in this program are endless.”
