CCTV images have been released of a man police want to trace after a motorist was subjected to an unprovoked attack.
The assault took place in London Road, Romford, at around 8.50pm on December 4 last year.
The 52-year-old victim was parking his car outside a shop when he was approached by the suspect, who asked him to wind-down his window.
The driver did this, only for the suspect to begin repeatedly punching him, causing serious injury.
The man was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service for treatment and has since been discharged.

The suspect is described as a black man, with a bald head and clean shaven.
He was wearing grey tracksuit trousers and a navy parka-style coat with a beige fur-trimmed hood with a large rectangular patch on the left side of the chest.
Detective Constable Jonathan Lam, from Havering Borough, said: "There appears to have been no motive for this attack and the victim was left beaten and bloody.
"I would ask anyone with information about this incident to contact police."
