A fire broke out on the roof of a house in the early hours of Thursday, June 1.
A FIRE broke out on the roof of a house.
The incident happened in Cooks Spinney, Harlow, shortly after 1.30am on Thursday, June 1.
Upon arrival firefighters were unsure as to whether anyone was trapped in the building, so gained entry and searched the burning house. No one was found to be inside.
The fire was under control by 4am.
An investigation has been carried out and the cause of the fire was recorded as accidental, started by a fault with electrics.
