AN architect company is giving the public the chance to look at historic photographs of its projects to celebrate its 125th anniversary
The Tooley and Foster Partnership, in Palmerston Road, Buckhurst Hill, will put on an exhibition to showcase 5000 of its previous projects on June 29 and 30 from 4pm to 8pm.
The exhibition forms part of the London Festival of Architecture, which coincides with its opening anniversary.
Visitors will be able to look through drawings, photographs and ledgers from the company’s founding members, Herbert Tooley and Rex Foster.
There will also be tools on display from as early as the 1950s.
Keith Everitt, a partner at the firm, said: “Whether you are interested in local history, thinking of becoming an architect or simply want to know more about how buildings are designed, you are welcome to drop in.”
