Firefighters had to cut a person out of a car after a crash on the M11.
Emergency crews were called to a section of the motorway in Loughton at around 3.30am this morning (Wednesday, July 5).
Crews arrived at the scene to find a single car had been involved in a crash.
Firerfighters and paramedics worked with to free one injured person from the vehicle.
Crews from Loughton and Harlow stations, as well as London Fire Brigade units from Walthamstow and Leytonstone, left the scene after 4am.
The casualty was left in the care of ambulance staff.
