ONE person was taken to hospital by ambulance after a “pile-up” on a high street.
Four vehicles were involved in the incident in Leytonstone High Road outside Matalan shortly before noon on Friday, July 7.
Reports on social media suggested a woman had an “epileptic fit in her car”.
A spokesman for the Met confirmed that no one was injured in the accident in which one person was “taken ill”.
A spokesman for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 11.55am on Friday to reports of a road traffic collision in Leytonstone High Road.
“We sent an ambulance and a paramedic in a fast car to the scene. We treated a patient at the scene and took them to hospital.”
