A CRICKET club used their bats to help raise nearly £1,000 for charity.
While many businesses took part in Macmillan Cancer Support's Coffee Morning, Loughton Cricket Club decided to do something a little different.
It organised event #Donate2Play as it would have found it difficult to hold a cake sale.
Members donated money to play a 30 Over game at their home ground in High Road, the Uplands.
They also bought cakes to be sold and eaten while watching the game.
It managed to raise £976.36p for the cause.
