A teenager robber who made off with thousands of pounds worth of luxury by using a fake gun during a raid has been jailed.
Joshua Jordan-Rose, 19, was sentenced to 12 years behind bars today (Monday, October 16) at Chelmsford Crown Court.
The teenager, of Grosvenor Road, Muswell Hill, had admitted carrying out the robbery at Luxe Watches, in Queens Road, Buckhurst Hill in January this year.
Jobless Jordan-Rose entered the store and, using a fake gun, was able to steal a number of high value watches worth tens of thousands of pounds.
He was arrested and charged two days after the incident when Essex Police carried out a joint operation with the Met Police’s Flying Squad at addresses in London.
He pleaded guilty to robbery and possession of an imitation firearm with intent at a previous court appearance on February 10.
Jordan-Rose was jailed for eight years for robbery and four years for possession of an imitation firearm, to run consecutively.
