A family had a lucky escape from a burning house in the early hours of this morning.
Three adults and three children fled the property in Grosvenor Road, Edmonton shortly before firefighters arrived after 4am on Thursday, November 23.
A family with three children left the neighbouring house for fear of the fire spreading.
Four engines and 21 firefighters spent over an hour tacking the fire which destroyed the ground floor of the terraced house.
Crews from Edmonton and Enfield fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
