More than100 pupils helped put together a production of Dick Whittington for their school’s annual Christmas pantomime last weekend.
The seven to 12-year-olds at Epping St John’s School in Bury Lane, Epping made up of two casts of the play which they performed for pupils from schools in Harlow.
Drama teacher Ian Jose said: “Due to the success of last year’s panto, School of Rock, and because of the growth of our performing arts department, we saw a huge number of students audition.
“A wide range of talent was displayed, so we decided we could not take on just one cast.
“They organised the set and the costumes, as well as the script which involved lots of audience participation.”
