The scaffolding yard at Greenview, Waltham Abbey
A SCAFFOLDING yard built on Green Belt land could be demolished and replaced with houses.
Shortly before Christmas plans were submitted to Epping Forest District Council to raze a commercial builder’s yard on Greenview, Waltham Abbey.
In its place would be built nine detached houses.
Although it is based on highly protected Green Belt land, Government guidelines allow for existing developments to be replaced given the new build does not have a great impact on the surrounding area.
