Pancake Day Races 2017 - Under 5s race with Spencer in the lead
THE much loved Waltham Abbey Pancake Race is back for its eighth year.
Since the turn of the decade teams of work colleagues, friends and families have been looking to batter each other in a flat-cake flipping dash along Sun Street.
On the morning of February 13 a variety of different groups will meet outside the library.
At 10.30am the day will kick off with businesses from the town, with the under fives at 11am, primary school pupils at 11.30am and parents and carers at noon.
The event is run by the Waltham Abbey Town Partnership.
