A gang tried to steal a motorcyclist's bike as he waited at a set of traffic lights.
The incident took place at around 12.50pm on Sunday (February 4) in Highbridge Street, Waltham Abbey.
A motorcyclist was waiting at traffic lights when three people on the back of a black Honda motorbike, stopped and demanded that he give them his bike.
Two of the suspects have tried to push the victim off his bike, however, he managed to ride off unhurt.
The suspects have been described as men, white, of a slim build and aged in his early 20s. They were all wearing black clothing.
One of the suspects was wearing a black motorcycle helmet and the other two were wearing black balaclavas.
Police say the Honda bike they were riding was may have been a SH300 model.
