Police have named and shamed a drink driver who has had his licence taken away for the next two years.
Pawel Wegner, of Kingsley Gardens, Chingford, was pulled over by officers in Manor Road, Chigwell at around 2.40am on December 9.
He was found to be over the drink-drive limit and has now been disqualified from driving for 24 months.
Wegner was also ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work, as well as being told to pay £85 costs and a £85 victim surcharge.
The conviction came as part of a countywide campaign by Essex Police aiming to tackle drink and drug driving over the Christmas period.
The scheme, which ran between December 1 and January 1, saw almost 150 people arrested across Essex.
The force is releasing the names and photographs of anyone convicted under during the campaign in the hopes it will act as a deterrent to anyone considering getting behind the wheel while drunk.
