Swimwear fans will be treated to a night at the museum.
On May 17, Epping Forest District Museum will be opening late for an extended showing of current exhibition ‘Beauty and the Beach’, a collection of swimwear from the 1940s to the 1960s.
As well as the chance to take in temporary and permanent displays, a DJ will provide a jive heavy soundtrack.
Refreshments are also available.
Attendees are encouraged but not required to wear vintage dress.
For further details, contact the museum by email museum@eppingforestdc.gov.uk or telephone 01992 716882.
The evening is part of Museums at Night, in which museums, galleries, libraries and heritage sites across the UK are encouraged to open their doors after hours and to showcase their treasures in unexpected ways.
