Iain Duncan Smith met with elderly men and women living in Parkview Care Home in Chingford on a recent visit
Pensioners at a care home welcomed their local MP for a tour of their new tea lounge and sat down with him for a cuppa.
Iain Duncan Smith visited Parkview Care Home in Chingford Mount Road on Friday, September 14, to view the refurbishments.
A spokesman for the care home said: “It was a pleasure to show our MP the outstanding improvements made within our home recently, as a direct result of our staffs continuous hard work and dedication.
“We at Parkview are pleased to be able to announce we have a new tea lounge surrounded by our gorgeous gardens and would like it to be known within our community that we have an open door policy and would welcome any one to stop in for drink and a chat, anytime.”
