St Clare Hospice based in West Essex is inviting supporters to ‘paint the town red’ at their festive Santa Run in Harlow.

The hospice raised £8,000 at their last event and this year they aim to hit the £10k mark.

The family-friendly festive fundraiser includes a 5k fun-run, where you can ‘dash through the streets’ wearing a complimentary Santa suit as part of the run.

This year they have introduced a 1k Elf Run for children– complimentary elf hats included.

On the day, hospice supporters can also expect a range of festive stalls and activities.

All the money raised will go towards towards St Clare’s free care and support services for those living with a life-limiting illness or experiencing bereavement.

Dani, St Clare Events and Challenges Fundraiser, says, “Santa Claus really is coming to town, so we can’t wait to see lots of local people there, supporting our vital cause and having some festive fun. Ho, ho, ho!”

The event will take place in The Water Gardens in Harlow on Sunday, 28 November at 11am.
