A MAN has died following a car collision involving an electric car and a pedestrian.

Essex Police were called to Epping, following reports of a collision involving a Smart car and a pedestrian.

The collision happened in Poplar Row, Theydon Bois just after 10.15pm on Sunday, March 12.

The pedestrian, a man in his 80s, has died at the scene.

The driver, a 20-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
