Leyton Orient took a big step towards survival on Saturday by winning 2-0 at Walsall to record back-to-back league wins for just the second time.
Fabio Liverani's men were the better side in a dour and instantly-forgettable first period but upped their game after the break and were deserved winners.
Goals from Swansea City loanee Ryan Hedges - his first in professional football - and Chris Dagnall, his tenth of the season, sealed the points for the O's.
Victory leaves Liverani's side in 21st position in League One, two points and a place from safety.
