Leif Lampater stole the show at the Good Friday Meeting at Lee Valley VeloPark as stars from the world of track cycling descened on the Olympic Park once more.
With a history going back more than 100 years, the Good Friday Meeting is a unique combination of elite, professional and club-level riders from across the globe, as well as national and local talent, seeing world and Olympic champions taking on amateurs at the Olympic venue.
Lampater, the two-time Madison World Cup winner, also took the Elite Derny Paced Race and the Super Points Race, with teammate Christian Grasmann taking second, and GB and Team Wiggo’s Andy Tennant in third.
There were two wins for Sophie Black in the women’s points and scratch races, with Joanna Smith taking the women’s elimination race.
