Two goals in three minutes saw Redbridge blow a first-half lead to lose 4-2 at home to Cray Wanderers on Saturday.

The Isthmian Division One North strugglers took the lead after 26 minutes through Charlie Portway who took advantage of a mistake by keeper Nick Blue to net.

Cray levelled after 11 minutes of the second half. Sean Roberts tackled Paulius Ditkevicius before passing to James Duckworth. He found Ben Hunt who curled into the net.

Three minutes later Duckworth got in on the act by tucking home from a rebound.

But Ricky Eaton and Dave Ross’ side drew level in the 63rd minute when Reside Coxi Sebastfao drilled home his fourth of the season.

The scoring wasn’t over and Cray added two more to wrap up victory. The first came when Duckworth curled in a free-kick before Hunt out-stripped his marker and fired home.

Redbridge host Thamesmead Town on Tuesday before going to Soham Town Rangers on Saturday.
