Michail Antonio is imploring West Ham United to make the most of the summer transfer window in order to qualify for Europe next season.
Having finished seventh in the 2015/16 campaign, the Hammers have dropped off considerably this year and are still not assured of their top flight status.
United failed to make the group stages of the Europa League this season, losing to Astra Giurigiu in qualifying, but Antonio believes big investment will help them push on next term.
“We need to sign a couple of players – a right-back, one more centre-half, two strikers – and to get more goals,” he told ESPN.
“If we can do that, we will be up there for the European places.”
The Hammers immediate focus lies with ensuring they remain in the Premier League and they will be keen to take all three points from their meeting with Stoke City on Saturday.
