West Ham have been linked with a move for Manchester United defender Chris Smalling, who is reportedly on his way out of Old Trafford this summer.

The Daily Star claim West Ham, Everton and Crystal Palace are all interested in signing the England international, who made 36 appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils last season, scoring twice.

However, the arrival of Victor Lindelof from Benfica at Old Trafford looks set to signal Smalling’s departure according to the Daily Star, with the Hammers, Everton and Crystal Palace all keen to secure his services.

Smalling moved to Manchester United from Fulham in 2010.
