West Ham’s Enner Valencia started and scored during Ecuador’s 3-0 win over El Savador in an international friendly earlier today.

The striker captained Ecuador and was on target for his country’s second goal, calmly slotting the ball home from inside the penalty area.

Valencia has been linked with a move away from London Stadium this summer having spent last season on loan at Everton, where he made 23 appearances in all competitions, scoring three times.

Elsewhere, the Hammers’ Havard Nordtveit was in action yesterday, as he played the first 45 minutes of Norway’s draw with Sweden in an international friendly.

Nordtveit captained his country, who were pegged back thanks to Samuel Armenteros’ goal for Sweden with nine minutes to play, ensuring the honours were shared.

The 26-year-old is another player who has been linked with move away from east London this summer, having made just sixteen appearances in the Premier League last season.
