James Dayton has joined Leyton Orient on a two-year deal, becoming the second signing of the day for the O’s after the arrival of Jamie Sendles-White.
The midfielder starts in tonight’s pre-season friendly against Arsenal Under-23s and is the latest signing in the club’s mass overhaul of their squad, which has seen 12 new names arrive.
Dayton spent last season at Cheltenham where he made 36 appearances, scoring three goals.
The 28-year-old started his career at Crystal Palace and has also had spells at Yeovil and Oldham among others.
