Notice is hereby given that National Highways Limited has made an Order on the M25 Motorway in the County of Essex, under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 because works are proposed to be executed on the road. The effect of the Order is to authorise the overnight closure of the link roads connecting the anti-clockwise carriageway of the M25 to both carriageways of the M11 at Junction 27 (M11 Junction 6).
This measure is in the interests of road safety while contractors undertake bridge works, geotechnical, carriageway, drainage, electrical, communication, barrier, surveys and inspections, vegetation clearance and all associated works.
It is expected that the work will last for approximately 3 weeks starting on or after Saturday 15th January 2022. The overnight closures will take place between (maximum periods):-
Saturday 15th and 22nd - 20:00 - 08:00,
Saturdays thereafter 22:30 - 05:30
Sundays 22:30 - 05:30
Monday - Thursdays 22:00-05:30
Fridays 23:00 - 06:00
The Order will come into force on 13th January 2022 and have a maximum duration of eighteen months, ceasing when the works are complete.
Traffic affected by the closures will be diverted anti-clockwise on the M25 to Junction 26 (A121) and return.
The temporary closures and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs when they are in operation during the works period.
