Notice of Variation given under sections 35C and 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Epping Forest District Council (Off Street Parking Places) Order 2021 (as amended).
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Epping Forest District Council Intends, not less than twenty-one days from the date of this notice, to vary the above Order relating to fees and charges at District car parks under Section 35C and 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. It is intended that the changes will take place on 4* April 2022. The variation will have the effect of changing the tariff of fees and charges (shown inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate) at the following locations - all other locations will continue at their existing tariffs. All charges shown gross with VAT included at prevailing rate of 20%.
1) Operational Hours - All car parks where there are tariffs will have charging hours between 8am - 6pm Monday to Sunday except bank/public holidays and weekends in December.

2) New Tariff Structure (does not apply to car parks which are currently free of charge)

Saturdays - The free of charge periods currently available in some car parks will be removed and the standard tariffs will apply.
Sundays - The free of charge period will increase from 1 hour to 2 hours. The over 2 hours parking tariff will be £2.

3) Civic Car Park, Epping - The 1 hour free of charge parking period will be removed.

4) Off-Street Resident Permits - Where available, a first resident permit will increase from the current price (£50 or £53) to £55 for 12 months.

5) Quaker Lane Car Park, Waltham Abbey - The operational days of the free of charge section of the car park will be increased from Monday to Saturday to all days.

6) Cottis Lane and Bakers Lane Car Parks, Epping - Season tickets for these car parks will no longer be available.
