Celebrated travel and landscape photographer Charlie Waite is set to exhibit a selection of his works in exhibition Silent Exchange.

Bringing together some of his most important landscapes to date as well as new works, Silent Exchange showcases Waite’s personal response to beauty, in an exhibition which spans a lifetime at the forefront of landscape photography.

Whether in Libya two days before the revolution, with the Amish in Pennsylvania, or in the poplar avenues of the Loire Valley or in the Welsh mountains, Waite’s images convey a moment of beauty and a sense of stillness that make his photography unique.

Instantly recognisable, Waite’s landscapes are rare perfections of light, colour and composition, offering the viewer a glimpse of a moment of beauty carefully framed by a master craftsman.

Lyttelton Gallery, The National Theatre, Upper Ground, South Bank, SE1, from June 23 until September 30.
