Penny Eggleton, owner of Krazy Kidz Fun Forest, is bringing a new array of child-friendly activities to Chingford. Having run the soft-play area in Costa Coffee, Station Road for almost three years, Penny saw the space could also be used by local parents to bring new experiences to their little ones. The Fun Forest is often busy before and after school pick-up but pop in at other times to find a variety of activities from toddler haircuts to visits from children’s authors.

The first author to feature will be Josie Dom, bringing her loveable character Lum along for story-time. As well as reading her book to the children, Josie will also have art activities, building blocks and a special treasure hunt. Tickets are available from the Fun Forest prior to the event at 11am on Friday, March 1. Every child who attends will get a copy of the book Lum and a sticker to take home.

Josie said: “I am very excited to be the first author to work with Penny at Krazy Kidz Fun Forest. A few years ago, I lived on Station Road, so coming back to the area is extra special to me. I’ve got some exciting new activities to share with the children in Chingford and will bring Lum’s house along too.”

Epping Forest Guardian:

Following on from Josie’s visit, Penny will have lots of other special activities for children. It’s a great opportunity for parents to grab a Costa treat while their children play. Keep an eye on the Facebook page for full details of upcoming events. You can also find Josie Dom on Facebook for information on her future events.
