A primary school showcased two Christmas performances this week.
Years one and two at Hereward Primary School in Colebrook Lane, Loughton, performed Gnome Alone, which consisted of five to seven-year-olds delivering lines and songs to an audience of staff and parents, this week.
The schools annual musical 'Christmas@Hereward.com' was performed by years three and four youngsters and saw children aged seven to nine perform Christmas songs and dances to the audience.
Year 4 Class Teacher Davina Victor said: "Our children sang like angels and we were so pleased at how confidently they performed.
“It was a terrific way to end the autumn term and filled everyone's hearts with Christmas cheer."
