Shop staff have celebrated after they sold a lucky customer a prize-winning packet of cleaning wipes.
Builder Malcolm Pudney, 47, from Harlow, visited Travis Perkins in Epping High Street for a pack of heavy-duty wipes in September last year.
After opening the wipes, which sell in around 2,500 shops nationwide, Mr Pudney found a foil seal entering him into a prize draw from manufacturer Tembé DIY for a safari holiday in Kenya.
Mr Pudney’s pack of wipes beat tens of thousands of others, and he was presented with his prize outside the winning shop yesterday (March 3) by staff from Tembé DIY and Travis Perkins.
