Virginia Charlotte Louisa Morton-Thurtle, 26, of Droveway in Loughton, refunded gift cards to purchase goods between August 27 2014 and January 27 2015.
The former technical support staff member at the branch in Westfield, Stratford, was given a six-month prison sentence suspended for two years at Thames Magistrates Court yesterday.
Morton-Thurtle will also undertake 200 hours of unpaid work before March 26 2016 and has been ordered to pay back £6,000 in compensation.
