A 21-year-old has been cleared of a string of sex offences against a teenage girl.
Liam Rogers, 21, of Roundhills Estate in Waltham Abbey, was found not guilty yesterday afternoon of raping a 13-year-old girl in Waltham Abbey on December 10, 2011.
Rogers, who denied all offences at a plea and case management hearing in November, was also cleared of charges accusing him of engaging in sex with the same girl and three further offences of sexual touching between 2011 and September 2013.
The six-day trial at Chelmsford Crown Court came to a close yesterday.
