The two teenage suspects going on trial for the murder of a 17-year-old boy are both pleading not guilty.
Elijah Dornelly was fatally stabbed in Walthamstow High Street late on Sunday, May 7.
Paramedics found him suffering with a knife wound and he would later die in hospital.
Elijah was walking home with a friend from an anti-knife rally before his attackers pounced on him and made off on bicycles.
Ezra Abeka, 18, and a 17-year-old boy were later arrested and charged with his murder.
On Friday, they both gave not guilty pleas at the Old Bailey.
A provisional trial date has been set for November 6.
